| ISLAMABAD: The government on Saturday announced a reduction in prices of oil products ranging between 21 paisa and Rs 1.24 per litre for August. But the price of high speed diesel (HSD) was raised by Rs 1.45. According to a notification of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra), the price of petrol has been reduced by Rs 0.21 per litre, that of HOBC by Rs 0.27, light diesel oil (Rs 0.31), kerosene (53 paisa) JP-1 local (44 paisa), JP-4 (Rs 1.24) and JP-8 (45 paisa).
The new prices of petroleum products will be as follows: petrol Rs 67.74 per litre, HOBC Rs 80.34, HSD Rs 73.03, LDO Rs 61.35, kerosene Rs 64.85, JP-Rs 54.76, JP-4 Rs 50.22 and JP-8 Rs 54.46 per litre.
